The Extreme Summer Special@ guimbal

"Summer in the South is really summer." - a famous script from Scarlet 'o Hana's monologue. Indeed! Summer at Guimbal ( town in southern district of Iloilo before Igbaras and Miagao, 29km away from iloilo city) is an trilling and exciting place! This town is the one of the cleanest and greenest town in iloilo. Landmark and historical sites found in the said town gives everyone's a pleasant treat. this namely as:

guimbal chuch - 400 years old

Guimbal steel bridge
 The Guimbal Public Plaza

the rest will be listed also as follows: Taytay Tigre and Ayaw-ayaw monument.

Guimbal is known for its historical "Bantayan" watchtower located near the seashore which used as look-out for Moro invaders during Spanish era. This business-friendly town also an irresistible tourist attraction namely as follows: Racso's Woodland and Resort, Garin Farm and Bantayan Beach Resort. However, staying this center of attraction's were quite expensive for us travellers! especially in terms of "Budget".So, we tried Shamrock Beach Resort located at Barangay Nanga ( 30-40 miles away) of the said town. Indeed! some of the resort's and beaches always have an entrance fee's and curfews. Oh! that's makes me sick! but whats surprise me and my Girlfriend is a Big sign " No entrance fee" posted outside the gate.Believe me! the place was really great and also the maintenance and organizing of the place is AWESOME!
